In the face of the 2016 election, the recent confirmation of Justice Kavanaugh, and more, many of us have agreed to try to move forward in productive ways by building awareness, community organizing, activism, or running for office. But how are we taking care of ourselves throughout the fight for justice and equality? This workshop will cover finding, practicing, and achieving self care in 2018.
Facilitators: Malia Lazu, CEO of The Urban Labs; Dr. Monica O’Neal, Harvard trained Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Relationship Expert, and Media Consultant; and Jeneé Osterheldt, Boston Globe culture writer who covers identity and social justice through the lens of culture and the arts.
