Food As Medicine

Many of us have heard the phrases, "You are what you eat" or “Food is your medicine.” Here at TRILLFIT, this holiday season we’re focused on learning and understanding more about the types of food we consume, how we might add more healthy choices into our diets, what eating locally sourced foods can do to support our community, and how nutritional choices can prevent and limit diseases.

This workshop is led by a panel of experts who will dive into the importance of the food we ingest, the nutrients our bodies need (based on several types of dietary preferences), and tips and tricks to maintaining our health during the holiday season.

Panelists: Chef Elle Simone Scott, culinary maverick and founder of SheChef, Inc; Vanessa Santos, Holistic Therapist & Health Coach; and Cassandria Campbell of Fresh Food Generation.
